Okay, so I'm brand new to this blogging thing so give me a chance okay. I've decided that I have something helpful to share with the world. You may be thinking that it's something really great and life changing. In reality...it's just another blog. However, my amazing friends convinced me that I had something of value to share. Do you have a grocery shopping day? We do, it's every Sunday morning. We drink a gallon of coffee, write a weekly dinner menu, make a grocery list, rewrite the grocery list by aisle (don't make fun), look at coupons and organize them by aisle (seriously don't make fun), and then do rock, paper, scissors to see who has to endure this atrocity we call the grocery store. How is this useful to you? Well, when you find yourself repeating the same meal for the 8th week in a row you may be thinking it's time to spice it up a bit. Here is where I come in. I work really hard to never repeat the same meal in a three week time span. I'm also constantly looking for new cookbooks (most of them given to me by my amazing Aunt), recipes, and creating my own rendition of an old family favorite. I try hard to serve my family nutritious, well-balanced meals (not that the baby eats half of what I prepare but maybe you'll have better luck). Anyway, I'm creating a space that will be updated every Sunday morning with the weeks menu's as my family sees fit. I'll post our menu along with our shopping list. Use or lose it but maybe it will help you come up with some new spark for the kitchen. After all, half the battle is just answering the question..."What's For Dinner"?...and I'm doing that for you:)
Enjoy,
Kate
